Anya's work has been described as reminiscent of Uli Herzner from Season 3. This comparison depends on poor memory and depends on jumping back and forth from one website to another to try to match up photos. Actually Anya's work has more similarities to Diane Von Furstenberg, or even some of Michael Kors past works, than Uli.
Yes, they both work V-necklines. Yes they both use some blues and golds in their palettes, yes they both have one swimsuit, yes they both use fluttery Chiffon on floor length hemlines. So does Christian Siriano do all of those things. So does Christian Dior. So does Dolce & Gabbana.
I paired the looks together based on MY OPINION of which look in Anya's collection had similarities to something found in Uli's collection. Seen side by side you tell the differences and see two different points of view. Others may want to pair up other looks differently than I did, but it won't make any difference. Uli had 12 runway looks compared to Anya's ten, so the last photo has both the odd looks from Uli which do not match up to anything in Anya's works. Anya's are always first on left side, Uli's on right side of pairs except last photo which is all Uli.
